Our top tier Dispute Resolution practice handles the largest and highest profile corporate and regulatory disputes in Australia.
We excel at running large, complex litigation, including regulatory investigations and proceedings; class actions; as well as corporate, commercial, infrastructure, competition and tax disputes.
Known for being sharp and strategic, we deliver practical, commercial advice.
Our Partners are leaders in their areas of expertise, who take on tough, high-stakes litigation for leading international and Australian businesses.
With experience representing both defendants and plaintiffs, we have invaluable insights into the judgment calls made on both sides of complex claims and prosecutions.
About the Role
An exciting opportunity exists for an Associate (1-3 PQE) to join our Dispute Resolution team in our Canberra office.
This role will see you play a key role on high-profile, complex commercial litigation, and collaborate nationally with the wider Dispute Resolution team.
You will work closely with highly-regarded partner Andrew Gill and other senior lawyers on complex matters whilst benefiting from structured training and mentoring.
It is a significant career opportunity providing the chance to extend yourself with challenging, dynamic and complex legal work.
About You
Have a high level of expertise in dispute resolution;
Work well to meet deadlines and in a team, but also excel working autonomously on tasks appropriate for your experience level;
Have strong communication and interpersonal skills that enable you to foster and build productive working relationships with colleagues and clients;
Take a collaborative, positive and energetic approach to everything you do; and
Have 1-3 years PQE commercial litigation experience in private practice.
