Role Overview This is a vital position within our People & Culture division, responsible for sourcing and recruiting high‑quality candidates for a variety of primarily technical positions. Reporting directly to the Director of Talent Acquisition, you will partner closely with Executive General Managers and Directors to identify and attract talented professionals for SYSTRA ANZ.
Location & Contract Based in Brisbane
12 month Max Term Contract
Responsibilities
Facilitate recruitment in line with business strategy, project objectives, and workforce planning requirements.
Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of industry movements and trends to advise hiring managers and Directors.
Work with hiring managers to align recruitment strategies and sourcing with specific role requirements.
Build brand awareness for SYSTRA ANZ as a company of choice for exceptional candidates.
Engage with third parties, such as universities, to adjust our market offering and communication.
Develop strong working relationships with internal stakeholders to understand the non‑technical competencies required for success.
Source candidates using various techniques, focusing on established business networks and relationships.
Manage the full candidate lifecycle, including database maintenance, shortlisting, interviewing, and providing feedback.
Conduct reference checks, manage offers, and liaise with People & Culture for contract preparation.
Drive diversity initiatives by building partnerships with relevant organisations and aligning with Diversity Council objectives.
Qualifications & Skills
Minimum of 5 years in an internal operational recruitment role within an engineering environment or an HR background with high‑level recruitment experience.
Proven experience in strategic sourcing and the establishment of talent pipelines.
Demonstrated ability to recruit for highly technical positions.
Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to build relationships quickly.
Effective communication and influencing skills.
Understanding of Equal Employment Opportunity and Anti‑Discrimination legislation related to recruitment.
Proficiency in using LinkedIn Recruiter and candidate management software; experience with iCIMS is desirable.
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills.
Tertiary qualifications in a business or human resource discipline are preferred but not required.
