Overview
We are seeking a talented individual to join our Investments team at Mercer. This role will be based in the Melbourne or Sydney office. This is a hybrid role that requires working at least three days a week in the office. As an Investment Consulting Analyst, you will deliver investment consulting services to insurers and enhance Mercer's offerings across various insurance sectors, including life, health, general, and specialty insurance. You will collaborate with Mercer's manager research and capital market teams and engage in a diverse range of strategic investment consulting projects for institutions such as superannuation funds, endowments, and foundations.

Responsibilities
- Contribute to the business through application of analytical techniques and methodologies on a range of projects across Mercer Investments' service offerings, with a focus on investment services and advice to the insurance industry.
- Support delivery of client project work through research, analysis, applying relevant methodologies, attending client meetings and drafting reports.
- Contribute to projects through effective management of tasks, and directly lead some smaller client deliverables.
- Develop capability through informal and formal learning opportunities.
- Participate in internal projects to improve Mercer, including talent, quality, service delivery, internal efficiency and intellectual capital.
- Support business development initiatives and proposals.

- Relevant undergraduate qualification and an interest in Investment Consulting

- Excellent interpersonal skills
What Makes You Stand Out
- Experience within a corporate work environment
- Working towards relevant professional qualification (CFA/ CIMA / FIAA / or similar)
- Technical base across investments and/or actuarial
