About Our Client
Our client delivers road network solutions utilizing industry-leading research, development and innovation, asset management tools.
What You Will Be Doing
* General road repairs – patching potholes, repairing road surfaces, sealing cracks, and resurfacing works.
* Operating plant and machinery – such as rollers, loaders, compactors, and other equipment used in road construction and maintenance.
* Drainage and shoulder work – clearing debris, grading shoulders, and maintaining roadside drains and culverts.
* Vegetation control – slashing, mowing, and removing overhanging branches or vegetation from road verges.
* Asphalt and bitumen works – assisting with laying and spreading asphalt/bitumen and other road surfacing materials.
* Operating heavy vehicles – driving HR trucks, water carts, tippers, and other heavy road maintenance vehicles.
* Emergency response – attending to road hazards, fallen trees, storm damage, and spill clean-ups.
* Set up, maintain and remove traffic management plans in accordance with site requirements and safety standards
* Install and remove signs, cones, bollards and barriers
What You Will Need
* HR Licence
* Experience in civil construction
* Machine operating tickets is highly desired
* Attention to detail with a focus on quality and safety.
* Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
* Traffic control ticket
