Overview
The Order and Project Manager – Team Lead AP is responsible for executing all Compression service orders in the Pacific sub-region (Australia, New Zealand, Korea, and Japan – other territories may be assigned). This role involves planning, organizing, monitoring, and driving processes and resources to meet order and project objectives within scope, time, quality, and budget. Additionally, the manager oversees backlog management, enhances customer contact during execution, represents Compression Service to clients, and aims to drive revenue growth, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead a team of Order Managers and Project Managers, responsible for all compression service orders (Parts, Repairs, Field Service, and combinations) in backlog, including outage projects; travel 20-30% domestically/internationally.
* Represent Compression before clients, acting as the voice of the customer, and improve communication for all service offerings within the region.
* Establish and monitor KPIs to measure service delivery success, achieve revenue and EBIT targets, ensure on-time delivery, and manage client satisfaction and claims.
* Collaborate with project managers across GS and STG, and implement measures to maximize opportunities and mitigate risks, including early issue communication.
* Coordinate outage planning and staffing with global FS teams, facilitate operational improvements, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
* Manage service orders directly when needed, participate in stakeholder meetings, and support digitalization and AI initiatives for end-to-end process visibility.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, or related field; MBA or leadership experience preferred.
* At least 5 years of experience in project management, service business, or order management, with a proven record of operational excellence and customer satisfaction; oil & gas or rotating equipment experience is a plus; PMP certification preferred.
* Experience with CRM (Salesforce) and ERP (SAP), including SAP T-codes, and proficiency in MS Office.
* Strong leadership, analytical, and organizational skills; excellent communication and relationship-building abilities; fluent in English; additional regional languages advantageous.
* Willingness to travel 20-30% nationally/internationally.
