Job Description Veolia ANZ is seeking an experienced Operations Manager for our Environmental Services Team in Kilburn, SA - (5084).
This role provides leadership for daily liquid fleet operations, ensuring safe handling of liquid and hazardous waste while maintaining customer service excellence.
You'll oversee compliance with transport licences, heavy vehicle regulations, and Veolia standards, while managing key residential septic contracts in Mt Barker and other SA council areas.

This role provides leadership for daily liquid fleet operations, ensuring safe handling of liquid and hazardous waste while maintaining customer service excellence.
You'll oversee compliance with transport licences, heavy vehicle regulations, and Veolia standards, while managing key residential septic contracts in Mt Barker and other SA council areas.

What you'll be responsible for Efficiently coordinate transport resources, ensuring safety
Consistently review drivers' pre-start and completion checklists, verifying equipment functionality and operational readiness
Ensure employee safety by identifying hazards, assessing and controlling risks, and providing necessary protective equipment
Maintain clear communication on safety matters throughout the workplace
Drive operational excellence and customer satisfaction
Foster and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with managers, administrative personnel, sales and staff across all divisions
What you'll need to be successful Waste industry experience (desired)
Hazardous chemical experience (desired)
Experience working with SAP and Salesforce (desired)
Ability to effectively manage and lead a team
Strategic mindset with excellent communication skills
Strong focus on safety and environmental compliance
