About your opportunity:
In this position you will…..
* Provide expert leadership and management to build and maintain a high functioning, high performing multi-disciplinary team through positive role-modelling behaviours and attitudes, highly developed communication and interpersonal skills including consultation, liaison, negotiation and conflict resolution.
* Collaborate in service planning and evaluation to ensure continuous improvement aligned with strategic planning for local and networked services. This may include active membership of steering and governance committees and participation in development of networked partnerships and service models.
* Demonstrates understanding of the burden of Rheumatic Heart Disease in First Nations communities in Far North Queensland and a knowledge of the Queensland Health RHD Action plan in improving outcomes.
