We're seeking a part-time contract Assistant Business Analyst to support our dynamic team within Uniting Mental Health space. The role involves working 38 hours a fortnight.
About the Role
* Part-time contract for 12 months (38 hours per fortnight) based in North Parramatta
* 2 to 3 days per week from 9am to 5pm
* Work from home flexibility
The Assistant Business Analyst role is for someone with a passion for data, detail, and driving better outcomes through financial insight.
Main Responsibilities
* Supporting month-end processes and quarterly financial reporting
* Preparing accurate grant acquittal statements and budget forecasts
* Building stakeholder relationships and providing timely financial data
* Contributing to audit schedules, revenue recognition, and cost allocations
* Coordinating meetings, documentation, and tracking deliverables
What You Need To Succeed
* Bachelor's degree qualifications in Accounting or relevant discipline
Experience:
* 1 year of experience in financial or data analysis or equivalent
* Proficient in financial tools and advanced Excel (pivot tables, data summarisation)
* Strong analytical and reconciliation skills
* Experience in accounts receivable and invoicing processes
* Excellent attention to detail and documentation accuracy
* Able to present data clearly to stakeholders
* Great time management and task prioritisation
* A proactive mindset and a willingness to learn
* Strong communication skills and a sharp eye for detail

* Experience in the not-for-profit sector
* Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar finance systems
