We are looking for an experienced Facilities Manager or Property Manager to work for this small, specialised property and facilities management team which provides Specialist Disability Accommodation to the Queensland community. Initially this will be a 6 month contract with a likley extension.
This Poperty Services Manager role will be responsible for developing and supporting the property services' asset management strategy, governance, systems and procedures to achieve agreed otucomes for its key stakeholders.
This person will manage all aspects of the Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) property portfolio, including the review and amendment of standard SDA agreements and templates and relevant quality and safeguard measures.
This manager's responsibilities will also include:
- Develop, implement and maintain robust systems, policies and procedures, procurement and training to deliver effective property portfolio governance and oversight.
- Liaise with key internal and external stakeholders including the National Disability Insurance Agency, Non-Government service providers, SDA participants' representatives and other business units.
To do this role you will require:
- experience in the management of facilities and property services, including and contract management.
- Your experience will include extensive experience in planning, initiating and implementing strategic asset management processes within a complex organisational environment.
- Experience in disability accommodation services would be highly desirable.
- You have experience in negotiating with non-government organisations in relation to contractual arrangements.
The remuneration offered for this role is negotiable.
