About the Role
We're on the lookout for Disability Support Workers, Domestic Cleaners, and Garden Gurus to join the crew. These are contract roles, so you can pick hours that suit your life. They work across the Peel region and beyond.
As a Disability Support Worker, you'll hang out with clients and help them get involved in community activities, help with home tasks like cleaning and gardening, and be a friendly face and a helping hand in someone's day.
What You'll Be Doing
Disability Support Worker Duties:
* Personal care, meal prep, and household help
* Taking clients to appointments, social events, and outings
* Supporting personal goals and celebrating wins
* Advocating for clients' needs with empathy and respect
* Keeping records and contributing to care plans
* Teaming up with other support legends and health professionals
* Encouraging community engagement and connection
Domestic Cleaner / Gardener Duties:
* Helping clients keep their homes clean and gardens blooming
What We're Looking For
Some experience supporting people with disabilities, great communication and people skills, patience, empathy, and a big heart. You should also have a driver's licence and reliable transport, First Aid certificate + NDIS Worker Screening (or willing to get them), and be good with paperwork and record-keeping.
Bonus Points: Certificate III or IV in Disability, Community Services, or similar (or keen to study)
