Water Management Specialist Role
The role of a Water Management Specialist is crucial in delivering water management solutions to the community.
As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a vital part in driving water management strategies forward within designated areas.
Key Responsibilities:
* Functional Design assessment and management responsibility for Growth Area development and subdivision applications including assessing and determining Permits Referrals, Engineering Design Reviews for wetlands, retarding basins, waterways and pipelines, complex Stormwater Management Strategy review, Development Planning and Subdivision applications, Certifications and Statements of Compliance
* Responsibility for risk management and continuous professional development
* Active strategy and scheme assessment and management
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Relevant Tertiary qualification required in Civil/Environmental Engineering
* Knowledge of hydraulic/hydrological and stormwater quality modelling
* Previous extensive experience in decision making in complex Civil Engineering and Urban planning related area of work
* Knowledge of Victorian Statutory Planning processes
* Experience in Financial Management of Development Services schemes, Development Contribution Scheme or other Infrastructure Contribution Plans preferred
