Simmons Civil is seeking a highly organised and detail-driven Payroll & HR Administrator to join our team based in Seven Hills.

This is a key role within the business, responsible for ensuring the smooth and accurate delivery of payroll and HR administration functions while supporting the ongoing growth and performance of our workforce.

You will play an integral part in supporting our people, maintaining compliance, and driving efficiency across payroll and HR processes.

About the Role

This position will see you managing end-to-end payroll while supporting a broad range of HR administrative functions across the business.

Working closely with leadership and operational teams, you will ensure all employee processes are handled efficiently, accurately, and in line with company and legislative requirements.

Key Responsibilities
* End-to-end processing of weekly payroll, including timesheet review and payroll execution
* PAYG, superannuation reconciliations and payments
* Coordination of employee onboarding, including preparation of employment documentation and issuing letters of offer and contracts
* Setup and maintenance of employee records across all systems
* Coordination and management of company assets including PPE, vehicles, phones and equipment
* Administration of vehicle registrations, insurances and associated requirements
* Scheduling and coordination of employee training and maintaining training records
* Management of Workers Compensation claims and associated documentation
* Preparation and administration of performance management documentation, including warnings and employment correspondence
* Supporting continuous improvement across payroll and HR systems, processes and compliance
About You
* Proven experience in payroll and HR administration
* Strong understanding of payroll processes, including PAYG and superannuation
* High level of attention to detail and accuracy
* Strong organisational and time management skills
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
* Confident communicator with the ability to work across all levels of the business
* Experience within construction or civil environments will be highly regarded
