About the Role
Soulbook Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled and creative Web Developer to design, build
and maintain high-quality websites and digital content. You’ll collaborate with
designers, analysts and network specialists to deliver secure, seamless and
engaging online solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, design and develop websites using modern web programming
languages, tools and databases.
Build visually appealing, user-focused web interfaces with input from design
and UX teams.
Create multimedia content including animations, graphics, audio/video clips,
presentations, games and interactive elements.
Work with network and systems teams to manage hosting, security, access
control, storage, backups and disaster-recovery planning.
Integrate clean, effective code with multimedia assets such as images, audio
files and scripts.
Assist in analysing needs and developing web strategies, methodologies and
long-term digital development plans.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in Web Development, Computer
Science, Software Engineering, Multimedia, or a related ICT field.
Strong knowledge of PHP and Laravel framework
Successfully implemented integration of payment gateways to the website
frameworks
Sound knowledge of Database and API integration tools
Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate wireframes and mock-ups into
functional web interfaces, ensuring the site is user-friendly and meets design
specifications.
Optimize websites for performance, speed, scalability, and search engine
optimization (SEO).
Minimum 1 year of professional experience in web development
(candidates with more experience will be given preference).
Strong understanding of modern web development languages, tools,
frameworks and multimedia technologies.
Salary
Annual salary: $70,000 – $85,000, based on skills and experience.
