Clinical Nurse Consultant - Gastroenterology Research.
Nepean Hospital, Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District (NBMLHD).
Permanent Full Time, 38 hours per week.
Remuneration: $126,720.88 - $129,314.15 per annum.

Responsibilities
Provide advanced nursing leadership in the coordination, implementation and evaluation of clinical trials and research projects related to gastrointestinal conditions.
Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high standards of ethical and clinical practice while improving outcomes for patients with complex digestive health needs.
Lead and influence evidence-based practice and contribute to the development and advancement of gastroenterology care through research.
Qualifications
Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Minimum five years full-time equivalent post-registered nursing experience in acute medical nursing; postgraduate qualifications in Gastroenterology or equivalent.
Demonstrated clinical leadership and ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary framework with a commitment to nursing/midwifery excellence.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; knowledge of the practice development framework in clinical practice.
Demonstrated recent experience and advanced knowledge in clinical trials management or experience as a study coordinator; understanding of HRCC and RGU submissions.
Involvement in the development or change of clinical practice grounded in evidence-based research.
Ability to apply clinical expertise in patient-centred consultancy, working effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team and independently.
