Job Title: Facilities Support Officer
As a key member of the SAPOL Facility Management Unit (FMU) in the Physical Assets Services Branch (PASB), you will play a vital role in ensuring the management and oversight of facilities across SAPOL.
The Facilities Support Officer position involves providing essential facilities support to FMU, responsible for managing and maintaining facilities to an optimum level in support of Policing Operations.
Key responsibilities include:
* Effective coordination of facilities management activities;
* Maintaining accurate databases and records;
* Providing administrative support;
* Assisting with invoicing and coding;
* Responding to breakdown and preventative maintenance work requests;
* Supporting minor work projects, replacement, and refurbishment;
* Ensuring compliance with Across Government Facilities Management Arrangement (AGFMA);
Working closely with colleagues, you will adopt a problem-solving, responsive, and informative approach to achieve service excellence.
Additionally, you must hold a current Australian work eligibility status and undergo a criminal history check. You may be assigned to other duties at this remuneration level or equivalent. Some out-of-hours work and intra/interstate travel may be required.
