The Role
Reporting to the Financial Accountant, this Accounts Officer role is a fantastic opportunity to get hands-on across the finance function. You'll be involved in everything from day-to-day transactions and reconciliations through to payroll support, playing a key role in keeping things running smoothly.
Duties include
* Accurately enter invoices, match to purchase orders and goods receipts, and reconcile supplier, bank, and credit card statements
* Support AR aging reports, build strong customer relationships, and follow up on outstanding payments to ensure timely collections
* Assist with intercompany transactions, general ledger maintenance, and day-to-day financial record keeping
* Contribute to the end-of-month process by ensuring accurate reconciliations and financial data
* Support to the payroll process
About You
* Previous experience in accounting role with demonstrated knowledge of payroll processing
* Confident using Excel and accounting software (MYOB experience is a big plus)
* Naturally detail-oriented and accurate in your work
* A great communicator who enjoys working with others
* Proactive, adaptable, and happy to roll up your sleeves
