About the Role: To support continued business growth, we're introducing two newly created roles that will play a key part in ensuring a seamless and professional quoting experience for our partners. Responsibilities include responding to technical enquiries, generating accurate quotes, and supporting the sales process with precision and care.
We're looking for individuals with a strong attention to detail and a proactive, customer-first mindset. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a technical foundation who is eager to build a career in presales, channel support, and partner engagement.
Your Key Responsibilities:
 * First point of contact via phone and email for all customer technical enquiries.
 * Support Tier and Tier 1 resellers by designing technical solutions
 * Generate and provide customer quotations within agreed service level agreements with a focus on accuracy and with an attention to detail.
 * Maintain exceptional customer service, and consistently strive to exceed customer expectations.
 * Educate clients on the best available solution, tools or collateral
 * Escalate customer or vendor concerns promptly
 * Ensure up-sell opportunities are explored with customer quotations
 * Proactively follow up on customer enquiries
 * Attend technical training on products across vendor portfolio and achieve set certification requirements
Qualifications / Requirements:
 * Hardworking, self-motivated and has desire to move into Pre-Sales Engineer position
 * Technical knowledge of data communications and networking with preferably a Diploma Degree.
 * Understands Margin and Uplift calculations and can apply accordingly
 * Sense of urgency and willingness to use initiative.
 * Strong interpersonal skills; ability to build strong relationships quickly and effectively both over the phone and face to face
 * Excellent administrative skills with attention to detail, proactive follow-up and efficient time management
 * SAP user skills would be a distinct advantage
 * Ability to use Office programs such as MS Outlook, MS Excel, and MS Word.
Experience:
 * Equivalent of 1 to 3 years of Presales experience
 * Configuration tool experience ideal
 * Industry equivalent certification would be ideal
