About the role
Based at Christmas Creek, reporting to the Branch Manager, you will lead the service team to ensure equipment inspections, servicing and repairs are completed to a high standard to support service demand.
Working on an FIFO basis, 8 days on and 6 days off.
This challenging and diverse role offers a variety of work, both on and off the tools.
As a Team Leader, you will:
* Coordinate equipment servicing & repairs in line with budget to maximise equipment availability & reliability
* Lead and mentor your team in their day to day activities
* Provide expert advice with diagnostics and customer requirements
* Train and guide technicians on service requirements and procedures, including Baseplan
* Ensure all necessary parts, consumables, tools, and equipment are available
* Lead safety culture & compliance for team / branch
* Conduct equipment servicing and repairs
Skills and experience
Along with sound mechanical knowledge and diagnostic skills, our ideal candidate will have:
* Experience in leading teams (either directly or indirectly) and managing service demand
* Sound planning, organisational and prioritisation skills
* Ability to problem solve and be flexible
* Strong interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills
* Ability to manage cost in line with budgets
