About Our Client:
Our client is a global logistics and supply chain company operating as part of a major international shipping group. They specialize in inland transportation, container depots, warehousing, and intermodal solutions, ensuring the efficient movement of goods across international markets. What You Will Be Doing:
In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transport of containers and general freight between customer sites, depots, and Fremantle Wharf terminals, ensuring all work is completed to the highest safety and compliance standards. You'll operate a range of vehicle combinations, including single semis, pocket and full road trains, while performing load restraint using chains, straps, and dunnage. Day-to-day tasks will include safely hooking and unhooking trailers, completing digital documentation through in-truck systems (such as MT Data and Transfocus), and maintaining strong communication with schedulers and clients.
What You Will Need:
* Current MC Licence with proven road train or general freight experience
* Load restraint experience essential (chains, straps, dunnage)
* MSIC / FPA Access Card – or willingness to obtain
* Dangerous Goods Licence – highly desirable
* Experience with steel or general cargo transport is desirable
