Founded in 2012, Offaly Civil Engineering (OCE) is a privately owned, self-performing, multi-disciplined civil contracting firm servicing the Wide Bay and Southeast Queensland regions. What we need
Due to consistent and targeted growth with a strong pipeline local work into 2025/2026, the business is now seeking to employ an experienced Civil Pipelaying Leading Hand for immediate start on projects in the Gympie area.
The successful candidate must possess the following skills;
* Prior experience within the civil construction industry, ideally working across water and sewer projects or similar.
* Ability to set & check heights from survey benchmarks typically utilising dumpy levels, spinning lasers and pipe lasers highly desirable.
* Experience in pumpstation construction and mechanical pipework installation.
* Be able to work independently and liaise with the client on site.
* Strong Commitment to Health & Safety.
* Versatile candidate with excavator / loader / skid steer tickets experience highly desirable.
* hands on approach to achieving project milestones.
The ideal candidate will have:
* Sound knowledge of the Australian Civil construction industry.
* Previous experience working on Water and Sewer projects.
* A Driver's License is a must.
* Two professional referees
* No restrictions on working in Australia
