* $ 124,785 to $ 133,411 per annum
* Plus 17% employer superannuation
* Salary packaging options are available
* 20 days family and domestic violence leave available per annum
* 20 days gender affirmation leave per annum
* 10 days Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultural and ceremonial leave per annum
* 5 weeks annual leave plus Christmas week shutdown, per annum
* Armidale based role. Flexible or hybrid work arrangements available
* Relocation assistance provided

About the role

The position reports to the Director Future Students and Engagement and operates under their open direction. The Manager provides leadership and expertise for high level engagement with UNE communities, alumni, industry and other partners to generate a positive Alumni and Philanthropic community. This role will collaborate closely with the office of the VC, the UNE Council, other directorates, faculties and residential colleges, to carry out effective communications, organise fruitful events and outreach engagements and create philanthropic opportunities across various UNE stakeholders, major donors, benefactors, alumni and partners within Australia and internationally. The position has line management responsibility for staff in fundraising and alumni, and external engagement, and will work closely with Corporate Communications.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will have:

* Proven success in external engagement and stakeholder management
* Experience in fundraising campaigns and major donor development
* Strong leadership abilities with demonstrated team building and mentoring skills
* Superior interpersonal and communication skills
* Knowledge of CRM systems and risk management strategies
* Understanding of philanthropic activities in the Australian Higher Education sector

About the Group

The Future Students and Engagement team integrates Student Liaison, Future Students team, Marketing, Growth, Corporate Communications, Advancement, Alumni and Events into a seamless operation which oversees the prospective student journey from awareness through to enrolment and continues along the Alumna journey. The operations, activities and engagements are managed in a coordinated way so that efficiencies and scale can be brought to every UNE touchpoint.
