Opportunity
Join our Intelligent Solutions Group (ISG) as a Validation Engineer and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of agricultural technology. You'll contribute to product testing and analysis, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and engage directly with dealers and growers to validate cutting-edge solutions.
Key Responsibilities
* Execute and refine test plans for product validation, including software and hardware bundles.
* Analyse engineering specifications and compile validation outcomes and design analysis reports.
* Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and suppliers to support design adoption.
* Load and test engineering builds of software and firmware.
* Support installation and validation of prototype hardware.
* Engage with farmer cooperators and international engineering teams to understand customer needs and field conditions.
The role involves domestic travel of up to 50% across Australia and New Zealand. This is a field-based position based in Queensland, with a Tool of Trade vehicle provided as per company policy.
About You
You are a technically adept, self-driven professional with a passion for agricultural innovation and a strong understanding of production systems. You thrive in dynamic, field-based environments and are comfortable engaging with growers, dealers, and cross-functional teams across Australia, New Zealand, and globally.
* Degree-qualified in Engineering, Science, or Technology.
* Enthusiastic learner with strong technical aptitude and field engagement.
* Skilled in operating agricultural machinery, sprayers, and tractors.
* Effective communicator with growers, remote teams, and global engineering groups.
* Familiar with bug reporting tools, software/firmware loading, and prototype hardware support.
* Experience with machine guidance systems; exposure to autonomous systems is a plus.
