We are seeking an expereinced Production Test Technician to carry out testing and quality control of sub-assemblies and final products to ensure correct functionality and performance.
Duties: The role encompasses but is not limited to the following: Perform preliminary testing of PCB assemblies.
Diagnose and repair (where possible) or quarantine any subassemblies (electrical and electronic) that do not meet functional requirements.
Carry out a final quality check on finished products, correcting any issue where possible or return product to production for remedial work.
Quality Control assurance and maintenance.
Recommend improvement opportunities to increase the robustness of existing testing processes and/or procedures.
Maintain the testing area in a neat, tidy, well organised and professional manner.
Follow and comply with the company's internal documentation.
Perform other tasks related to the function as instructed by their supervisor.
The Person: Must have experience in testing electrical and electronic products.
Must have had exposure to or at least an understanding of quality control.
Must hold, or be eligible to apply for, a suitable connect/disconnect electrical qualification, as servicing of 3-phase powered equipment forms part of the role.
Must have the ability to understand and communicate written and verbal instructions in English.
Must have strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Must have exposure and skills in a Windows computer environment.
Must already hold a right to work in Australia.
A qualification related to electrical or electronics is a distinct advantage.
