Overview
Your New Company/Role: As a well established organisation, my client is looking for an experienced Accounts Officer (Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable) to join their team on a 3 months temporary full time basis and subject to permanency. The role is to be based in their Brookvale NSW 2100 office with onsite parking provided alongside 2 days work from home flexibility. Once up to speed, arrangement to work from their North Ryde NSW 2113 office some days is possible.
Responsibilities
* Manage and control accounts receivable and payable for the business and all associated companies
* Accurate and timely processing of invoices
* Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable management
* Ensure exchange rates are up to date
* Sending monthly customer statements & reminder letters
* Processing staff expenses
* Maintaining petty cash
* Collection calls
* Bank reconciliation
* Data entry and maintenance of accounting and customer management systems
* Performing credit checks & advise on credit risk
* Handling suppliers/customer queries effectively
* Other ad hoc duties as and when required
Ideal Profile / Qualifications
* Tertiary qualification in Accounting & Finance/Business/Commerce or equivalent work experience
* 3 - 5 years experience in a similar role
* Prior experience in Business Central or other large ERP systems are highly desirable
* Intermediate Excel skill
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Able to work independently and in a team environment
Benefits
* 3 months temporary position and subject to permanency
* $37.00 - $46.00 per hour + Super (based on experience)
