We Are Hiring: Motivated Workers (Grit Blaster / Coating Applicator / Painter)
About the Role
You will be involved in the preparation and coating of steel structures to protect against corrosion. Work is primarily carried out on-site across Wollongong and the East Coast of Australia, including ports, industrial sites, and marine environments.
Full training will be provided.
Typical duties include:
* Surface preparation (cleaning, drying, grit blasting)
* Application of protective coatings
* Working as part of a team on various project sites
What We're Looking For
* Experience in industrial painting, blasting, or coatings (advantageous)
* Experience as a painter, mechanic, welder, or diver (beneficial)
* Ability to perform physically demanding work
* Comfortable working outdoors and at heights
* No claustrophobia (confined space work may be required)
* Flexible with working hours
* Valid driver's licence (Class C)
* Good communication in English
* Reliable, team-oriented, and willing to learn
