Your role will involve supporting participants to reach their goals and live fulfilling lives.What you'll be doing:As a Community Support Worker, you will work within the community, assisting with personal care, meal prep, domestic tasks, social support, transport, and personal development. You will build strong relationships with participants, understanding their needs and preferences to provide tailored support.What you'll bring:A passion for helping others and responding to their needsStrong communication skills, both written and verbalCaregiving skills with compassion, empathy, resiliencePhysical ability to perform manual tasksWhat we would like you to have:Authorized to work in VictoriaValid Victorian Driver LicenseUnderstanding of NDIS, disability, and community services sectorCertificate III in Individual Support/Disability or studying towards it (highly regarded)Minimum 2 years industry experienceAbility to adapt to changeWorking with Children CheckNDIS Worker Screening CheckFirst Aid/CPR CertificatePlease note, response times may be slower during the holiday period, but we will address your needs promptly in early January.
