About the role:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Work Health Safety & Wellbeing Team Leader to join our Work Health Safety & Wellbeing team. This role is responsible for leading a high performing team of Work Health Safety and Wellbeing Advisors; Service Delivery Managers and Senior Business Partners to successfully manage and implement CPA's Work Health, Safety and Wellbeing Program across NSW and ACT.
This role requires frequent travel within the Sydney Metropolitan region as well as some travel to Hunter and Central Coast regions.

- ALLAMBIE HEIGHTS
- PRAIRIEWOOD
- NEWCASTLE
- CENTRAL COAST

Responsibilities of the role (not limited to):
- Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Work Health Safety & Wellbeing team to support the business by ensuring compliance within policy, guidelines, and legislation
- Working collaboratively with the Senior Manager Work Health Safety & Wellbeing in response to organisational and site requirements and develop Work Health Safety & Wellbeing priorities for the team
- Leading CPA's Mental Health awareness month and contribute to the development of wellness initiatives based on data and risk
- Assisting in the evolvement and promotion of CPA's wellness benefits for workers
- Implementing new initiatives and practices to ensue team and manager engagement across the organisation.
- Building and managing effective partnerships that engage stakeholders in understanding and identifying innovative solutions in supporting best practice physical, psychological health and wellbeing initiatives
- Monitoring frontline managers reporting and documenting of incidents to ensure completion within agreed timelines and enable relevant stakeholders to effectively respond.
- Developing resources and tools for managers to support, practice, and approaches around physical and psychological health
**Requirements**:
- Demonstrated experience at least 3 - 5 years in a Work Health Safety role
- An understanding of wellbeing initiatives
- Demonstrated experience leading and motivating a team
- Knowledge of NSW Work Health and Safety legislation
- Knowledge of auditing processes and outcomes
- Demonstrated experience managing complex challenges while using initiative to continually improve Health Safety and Wellness outcomes for staff, volunteers' students, and contractors.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Demonstrated stakeholder management experience
