About The Role:
In this hands on teaching role, you'll
* Design and deliver engaging learning programs focusing on the Certificate III in Baking with a strong focus on cakes and patisserie
* Deliver engaging and hands-on classes to a diverse group of students.
* Assess, provide feedback and support to nurture students to develop their skills.
* Collaborate with industry partners to ensure training meets workplace needs
* Ensure compliance with food safety standards and OHS requirements
* Maintain industry currency through professional networks and industry engagement
We are excited about you because you have:
* Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or equivalent)
* Previous teaching or mentoring experience in a vocational setting
* Strong knowledge of baking techniques and food trends across Australia and Internationally
* Three years of experience working as a qualified Baker or Pastry Chef
* Current Working with Children Check
