About the Role
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team as Support Workers.
As a Support Worker, you will work closely with clients, their families, and stakeholders to provide personalized support and assistance in achieving their goals.
You will be responsible for:
* Providing physical and emotional support to clients
* Assisting with daily living activities, such as personal care and mobility
* Supporting clients in accessing community services and activities
* Developing and implementing individualized support plans
Requirements
* Professional or lived experience supporting someone with disability
* Experience in hoist use, pressure management, catheter change repositioning at night, and provision of community access during some days
* Disability support certificate at least level III
* Valid Blue and Yellow cards or NDIS Worker Screening Check
* Current Driver's license
* First Aid Certificate
* Valid Police Check
* Good communication skills
* Ability to provide 2 referees
* The right to work in Australia
* Knowledge and Experience in Mental Health/Psycho-social Disabilities would be a great advantage
