Position Summary:
We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead some of Tasmania's new and exciting projects. Based in the North / North West regions, this position reports directly to the Northern Construction Manager.
The successful applicant will deliver a variety of complex commercial construction projects, by supporting a dedicated and skilled project team as well as; providing a client-focused approach throughout all stages of a project.
Key Responsibilities Include:
* Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of key projects;
* Ensure compliance with QHSE requirements, inclusive of preparation of project plans;
* Manage client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact for key stakeholders;
* Develop and monitor budgets and programmes;
* Lead and mentor project teams;
* Actively engage in cost control and project milestones;
* Oversee contract management with a focus on project risk;
* Provide expert advice and input into tender proposals, specifically related to procurement and programme strategies.
About You:
You will have demonstrated experience in successfully delivering multiple complex construction and/or infrastructure projects (greater than $10m), plus:
* Ability to lead and manage a diverse range of key stakeholders;
* A high level of engagement and appreciation of QHSE and company values;
* Good commercial acumen;
* Demonstrated programming and planning skills;
* Strong knowledge of construction contracts.
In addition to the above, the successful applicant will have the following:
* Diploma in Building and Construction, Business or Project Management;
* Extensive experience in construction project management or similar;
* A current driver's licence;
* White card.
Desirable qualifications:Post-graduate qualification in Project Management, Construction Management or similar.
