THE OPPORTUNITY:
Based in our Mulgrave Head Office and reporting to the General Manager of Finance, this Permanent Hybrid role will see you partner with the Operations team to set and achieve the annual budget, identify and deliver operational and financial initiatives and lead the modelling of new services, periodic forecasting, and periodic performance analysis.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Strategic Leadership: Identify commercial and operational risks and opportunities and contribute to strategic planning and execution.
* Team Development: Build and lead a high-performing, customer-centric finance team. Mentor junior staff and foster strong internal and external relationships.
* Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead end-to-end budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy, accountability, and driving continuous improvement.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Influence and collaborate with senior management, auditors, suppliers, and government agencies to ensure robust financial outcomes.
* Governance & Compliance: Oversee adherence to compliance standards, corporate governance, and internal financial controls.
To be considered for this role you will have:
* Degree in Accounting or a related field
* Professional Accounting Qualification (CA, CPA, CIMA, ACCA)
* Experience in a multi-site environment with strong organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
* Proven experience in financial and statutory reporting, analysis, and reconciliation
* Proven skills in continuous improvement in systems and driving change.
* Previous leadership and/or management experience
* Advanced Microsoft Office and computer literacy
