We are looking for medical receptionist to provide high quality administrative assistance to join our medical clerical team and support our technical staff.
The successful candidate should have excellent customer service and patient care and proven ability to manage priorities; must have strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to establish effective and respective working relationships with colleagues.
Candidate with nursing or phlebotomist background is preferred as blood collection can be required. Casual positions weekdays with occasional Saturdays as requested. Payment negotiable depend on the experience.

Opening hours from 0730 am till 1800. It is expected from the applicant to open or close the practice upon negotiation/mutual agreement.
Paid parking and 30-minute lunch break
Successful applicant will have 3-6 months probationary period.
Duties:
Answer incoming phone calls, respond to enquiries, schedule appointments and greet patients, and visitors a professional, courteous and respectful manner.
Assist patients to complete all necessary forms and documentation.
Ensure patient information is accurate and up to date, including billing information.
Maintain and manage patient records.
Process patient payments and Medicare rebates with attention to detail to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Ensure clinic is opened on-time and that the reception area is neat, tidy and inviting for patients and guests.
Regularly check waiting areas to ensure they are left clean and tidy.
Respond and comply to requests for information.
Patient triage
Monitor and action patient email inquiries.
Safeguard patient privacy and confidentiality.
General administration tasks including scanning, drafting documents and assisting the Practice Manager as directed.
Balance daily receipts and banking.
Maintain kitchen, consulting rooms clean, tidy and restocked in the end of the day.
Other tasks as required commensurate with skills and experience.
You are employed on a permanent part-time basis.
You may be expected to work 8.5 hours on any day from Monday to Friday between 7:30am to 6pm to cover leave.
Flexibility is a must.
Two-year minimum medical receptionist experience preferred.
Ability to work part of a team in a fast-paced clinic.
