About the Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Support Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality support services through administrative, finance administration, and other related duties.

Key Responsibilities:

* Reconcile daily cash and cheques, complete bank reconciliations, and coordinate accounts payable and receivable process.
* Process and receipt donations and other payments in Salesforce.
* Complete end of month financial reporting, including credit card reconciliations.
* Support with the administration of grant funding, including logging requests, maintaining funding database, and coordinating reporting and acquittal processes.
* Act as first point of contact for all office and telephone enquiries.
* Coordinate all office administration functions.
* Provide general administrative support to ensure successful implementation of fundraising and engagement activities and events.
* Coordinate room bookings, refreshments, and IT needs for team meetings.
* Provide Eco Warden role for the organisation.

Requirements:

* 3-5 years prior relevant experience in a role involving high empathy/service levels to clients, supporters, or the community.
* Prior exposure to an administration or finance-related role within a fundraising environment or similar business.
* Sound problem-solving and decision-making skills.
* Passionate about our vision and values and genuine desire to improve the health of the community.
* Ability to establish and maintain positive and effective working relationships across a highly diverse group of stakeholders.
* Ability to inspire people to support us.
* A positive 'can-do' attitude and caring disposition with ability to display kindness and empathy in all dealings.
* Upbeat, friendly, courteous, and respectful phone manner as well as comforting personal demeanour.
* Highly competent in MS Suite Office Applications and Outlook as well as exposure to database software.
* Time management skills and ability to work under pressure with sense of urgency to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
* Exceptional attention to detail.
