SALES CONSULTANT – HIGH PERFORMANCE ROLE

Elite Portables | Toowoomba / Carpendale QLD
$75,000 Base + Commission + Performance Incentives (Uncapped Earning Potential)

Elite Portables is entering a major growth phase—and we are not looking for average salespeople.

We design and construct high-quality modular buildings across Australia, with strong, consistent demand. This role exists for one reason: to convert qualified demand into signed contracts and revenue.

THE ROLE

You will take full ownership of the sales pipeline—from first enquiry through to signed contract and deposit secured.

This includes:

* Managing pre-qualified inbound leads (all leads are vetted by our internal team)
* Handling walk-in enquiries and scheduled client meetings (Saturday availability required)
* Qualifying client needs, budgets, and feasibility quickly and accurately
* Guiding clients through design, pricing, and compliance requirements
* Driving deals forward through structured follow-up and objection handling
* Managing the process through to contract execution and certification initiation
* You are not here to “assist”—you are here to close.

PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS (NON-NEGOTIABLE)

* Target: Average of 1 building sale per week
* Quarterly KPI: 13 signed contracts (buildings sold)
* Maintain a strong, active pipeline with accurate reporting and forecasting
* Consistently convert vetted leads into revenue
* This is a results-driven role. Performance is measured clearly and consistently.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

* You take vetted opportunities and convert them efficiently
* You control your pipeline—not the other way around
* Clients feel confident and informed, resulting in 5-star experiences and reviews
* You consistently meet or exceed sales targets
* Top performers in this role:
* Know their numbers at all times
* Improve conversion rates quarter-on-quarter
* Close deals without needing constant oversight

ABOUT YOU

* This role will expose anyone who is not genuinely capable in sales.
* We are looking for someone who:
* Has a proven, measurable track record in sales performance
* Can clearly demonstrate past KPIs, conversion rates, and results
* Is confident in face-to-face and phone-based selling
* Learns systems quickly and takes initiative
* Understands how to move deals through a pipeline to close
* Is available to work Saturdays as required
* Experience in construction or building is advantageous—but performance in sales is the priority.
