Randstad is currently partnering with EOS (Electro Optical Systems) on an exciting new role within the developmental testing team. As part of a new strategy within V&V, the business has a need for an Electronics/Mechatronics Test Engineer. In this role, you'll work closely with the V&V and Engineering team to assist with hardware and software testing of embedded systems and electronic products. As a Verification & Validation Test Engineer, you will support the testing and verification of systems and manage the integration and test environments.
This is a permanent opportunity based in Hume, Canberra.
About the Role
* Collaborate with other V&V testing and Engineering professionals to consult across Systems, Projects and software Engineering.
* Work closely with the senior V&V team members to assist in the verification and validation activities.
* Prepare Test Plans and Procedures.
* Develop and implement new documents for work procedures to refine engineering work streams.
* Design and implement Automated Tests Frameworks.
* Conduct system testing activities, as well as identify system requirements and make any configuration changes.
About you
* A tertiary qualification in Electronics Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering.
* Strong knowledge around engineering Verification & Validation.
* Proficient in hardware and/or software installation and configuration.
