About the Role:
Cannatrek is seeking a Lead Operator who will be responsible for ensuring that machinery and equipment are monitored and operated at the highest levels possible, and all safety, quality, sanitation, cost and environmental criteria are met.
Role Responsibilities:
* Safe operation of machinery in line with all relevant standards, SOP's, QMS and work instructions, minimising waste
* Escalating maintenance issues to appropriate personnel and completing all paperwork in a timely manner
* Collecting and providing samples as per line requirements, and identifying root of cause of problems and breakdowns
* Ensuring filling machine is cleaned in line with all relevant SOP's and work instructions
* Maintaining a clean working area and assists others to keep the department clean and tidy in line with GMP standards
About You:
* Experience working within the Pharmaceutical or Food manufacturing such as aseptic or a related Industry is desired
* Relevant technical experience or demonstration of strong technical aptitude
* Good fault finding and root cause analysis skills
* Excellent communication skills
* Computer literate
* Operational knowledge of SAP or equivalent
* Knowledge/Experience with automated systems
* Flexibility to work shift work/rotating shifts if required
* Build a positive team environment
