We're looking for a Social Media Account Manager who lives and breathes social, thrives in a fast‐paced, creative environment, and isn't afraid to embrace new tools, including AI, to make campaigns smarter, faster, and more impactful. You'll be joining a close‐knit team of social superstars, working on one of Australia's most loved brands. Whether you're ideating, strategising, or analysing, you'll have the chance to push creative boundaries while delivering results that matter.
Overview
As a Social Media Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing and optimising our clients' social media presence. You will be responsible for developing strategic social media campaigns, creating engaging content, analysing performance metrics, and fostering strong client and partner agency relationships. This role requires a deep understanding of social media platforms, exceptional communication skills, and a proven track record of delivering successful social media strategies. You must be based in Melbourne for this role and have a full driver's licence.
Key Responsibilities
* Client Management: Be the primary point of contact for your clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met with top‐notch service.
* Strategy Development: Build and implement social media strategies that align with clients' goals and drive results.
* Creative Ideation: Lead the development of engaging social content and campaigns that resonate with target audiences.
* Content Oversight: Manage the production of high‐quality, on‐brand content for social platforms, including copy, graphics, and video.
* Performance Analysis: Collaborate with analysts to track performance and turn insights into actionable improvements.
* Campaign Management: Oversee paid social campaigns, including budget allocation, targeting, and optimisation.
* Trend Awareness: Stay current with the latest social trends, tools, and best practices, including AI‐driven opportunities.
* Influencer Management: Work effectively with influencers to amplify campaigns.
* Collaboration: Partner with creative, PR, and digital teams to deliver integrated campaigns.
* Stakeholder Management: Keep stakeholders aligned and projects running smoothly.
* Financial Management: Manage budgets for social campaigns and flag any potential overages.
Who You Are
* Minimum 3 years in social media management with strategy, client, and stakeholder experience.
* Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a similar field.
* Deep knowledge of social platforms (YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, TikTok).
* Strong analytical skills and experience with tools like Brandwatch, KLEAR, Meltwater, Meta, and Spark.
* Excellent written and verbal communication.
* Able to juggle multiple accounts without dropping the ball.
* Creative thinker who thrives on bold ideas.
* Bonus: Social or digital marketing certifications.
