About the Hotel Federal

Featuring a gaming lounge with 30 state-of-the-art gaming machines, local entertainment, and a burger bar, it truly stands out as a premier destination for locals, tourists, and passersby.
What you can expect in a day in this role:
In this role, you will be responsible for attending to enquiries from our gaming patrons, preparing food and beverages, and providing exceptional customer service.
Some of your day-to-day duties will include:
* Manage and maintain gaming operations and functions
* Assist patrons with food and beverage orders and general queries
* Oversee and operate TAB services
* Maintain cleanliness and uphold hygiene standards across all areas
* Support food and beverage service in the Bistro and Burger Bar
* Respond to general enquiries and handle customer complaints professionally
What you will bring to the role:
Along with excellent customer service and the ability to take initiative, you will have:
* Demonstrated cash handling proficiency
* Knowledge of all gaming machine regulations, compliance, operations, and procedures
* An understanding of food & beverage products and services
* A professional & mature "can-do" attitude with the ability to work autonomously
* Current Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate (RSA) and Responsible Service of Gaming Certificate (RSG), or the ability to obtain these certificates
* Ability to work a variety of night and weekend shifts, which include public holidays.
A successful candidate in this role may be subject to pre-employment and ongoing screening checks.
