**Engineering Project Supervisor**

As an **Engineering Project Supervisor**, at Honeywell, you will be responsible for the technical success of their assigned projects. This requires defining the detailed scope requirements, through co-ordination with internal and external project stakeholders and developing and documenting the design. Validating this with the project stakeholders and co-ordinating work packages for local and remote project team members.
Responsibilities include ownership of the engineering outcomes and project delivery. Advising the project manager on technical status, ensuring engineering schedules are met, lead project engineering problem solving efforts and deliver engineering for the project in accordance with the project estimate and contract requirements.
**What You'll do**:
- Responsible for overseeing the entire systems design, engineering, and implementation process of projects.
- Assess customer sites to determine installation and design requirements, coordinating with subcontractors.
- Review project documentation for scope and schedule impact, working closely with the project manager.
- Prepare design submittals and documentation, ensuring timely approvals.
- Develop site-specific engineering, operation, and maintenance manuals.
- Assign and monitor work packages to team members, ensuring quality and timeliness.
- Define and drive engineering schedules in collaboration with the project manager.
- Direct day-to-day engineering and technical activities.
- Identify and escalate risks promptly to mitigate negative impacts.
- Implement standard methodologies for project delivery and control.
- Coordinate commissioning activities and supervise on-site commissioning.
- Provide technical support to field technicians, engineers, and stakeholders.
- Manage Quality Assurance procedures to ensure defect-free hardware and software delivery.
**YOU MUST HAVE**
- Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or Mechatronics or equivalent industry experience
- Previous experience working with highly complex electronic security/building management systems.
- Knowledge of networking, database technology and trends in IT would be highly advantageous.
- Proven track record in a project engineering capacity involved in the delivery of technology-based projects.
- Has worked as part of a project environment as part of a project team, with the ability to develop and influence team members.
- Strong customer relation skills with the total commitment to customer satisfaction
- Proven history with development of standardised tools and processes
- Capacity to deliver against multiple objectives.
- Previous exposure to a site-based, construction environment
