OverviewReservations Consultant – Hamilton Island | Cruise Whitsundays.
This is a permanent full time position based on Hamilton Island, reporting to the Customer Service & Sales Manager.
The Reservations Consultant will be the first point of contact for customers, assisting with enquiries and booking experiences.
Accommodation on Hamilton Island can be arranged through Cruise Whitsundays; rent is processed via payroll deductions and utilities are paid by the employee.Base pay range: A$30.00/yr - A$31.00/yr.
This range is provided by Journey Beyond; your actual pay will be based on skills and experience.About the CompanyCruise Whitsundays, based in Airlie Beach, is the largest marine-based tour and transport provider in the Whitsundays.
It offers tours to places such as the Great Barrier Reef and Whitehaven Beach across 10 vessels plus a sailing catamaran, with inter-island connections and regular daily departures.
Journey Beyond is the parent group comprising multiple tourism brands across Australia.ResponsibilitiesStay updated on Cruise Whitsundays products, timetables, and promotionsManage bookings via email, phone, web chat, and Custom LincProcess booking payments and finalise end-of-day cash balancesFinalise Quality Assurance bookings and apply promotionsBook third-party providers and adhere to Reservations Policies and ProceduresPrepare necessary paperwork for operations and respond to customer feedbackAbout YouYou have a passion for the Tourism Industry with a real commitment to delivering the best standards of customer service.
