Breeder Farm Manager Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Breeder Farm Manager to oversee the daily operations of a 7-shed production farm housing over 40,000 birds. This is a challenging role that requires strong leadership and husbandry skills.
Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the farm, ensuring high-quality outcomes and meeting production standards
* Implement effective flock management strategies, including mortality checks and vaccinations
* Develop and coach the team to achieve performance goals and improve overall efficiency
Requirements
* Previous experience in a similar farm manager role in the poultry industry
* Strong leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
* A good understanding of modern breeder farming methods, animal welfare, and environmental impact
* Ability to work outside in all weather conditions and undertake hands-on tasks as required
