Key responsibilities
* Assist with personal hygiene, grooming and toileting while preserving dignity and independence.
* Help with mobility, transfers and safe use of assistive devices under care plans.

* Provide friendly companionship, conversation and social support to reduce isolation.
* Follow individual care plans and document care notes accurately and promptly.
* Communicate respectfully with clients, families and coordinators to ensure continuity of care.
Essential qualifications and checks
* Full Australian Driver's Licence: Required for travel between clients.
* Current Police Check: Mandatory for client safety and compliance.
* Working With Children Check: Required where clients include younger people or family settings.
* Previous experience in personal care, disability support, aged care or community services is preferred but not mandatory for motivated candidates.
