Job Description
Orygen, Australia's Centre of Excellence in Youth Mental Health, seeks a skilled Web Applications Developer to join their team. This role involves supporting the development, maintenance, and optimisation of web-based database management systems using the .Net platform.
You will work closely with researchers and statisticians to deliver fit-for-purpose systems that enable secure, efficient, and accurate data capture, management, and reporting.

* Design, build, and maintain SQL databases and web applications to support research projects.
* Ensure front-end interfaces meet functional, usability, and responsive design standards across devices and platforms.
* Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve data issues while ensuring accuracy, security, and compliance with research requirements.
* Prepare datasets, generate reports, and contribute to data analysis and visualisation in collaboration with researchers and statisticians.
* Engage with staff, students, and partners, foster positive relationships, and actively participate in team and organisational initiatives.
* Aptitude for tertiary qualification or equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
* Knowledge of and experience using RPMS is essential.
* Strong knowledge and experience in .NET (4.0 and Core) Web development with HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, and Bootstrap.
* Working experience using Azure DevOps and GIT.
* Solid knowledge and experience in SQL/Relational databases - Microsoft SQL Server.
* Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated attention to detail, and proven ability to deliver consistently high standards of professional communications.
