HV Electrical Maintainer Core Services Utilities – DampierLocation: DampierRoster: 8 days on / 6 days offTeam: About the Role We are seeking a qualified Electrical Maintainer to join our Utilities team in Dampier.
Reporting to the Supervisor, Utilities Dampier, this role operates on an 8/6 roster, with flexibility for additional days during shutdowns, network issues, or team absences.You'll be responsible for maintaining electrical equipment across a diverse range of assets, including Power Transmission networks, Rail Facilities, Hydrocarbon and Wastewater Plants, and more.
Experience with standby generation systems is highly valued.This is a fantastic opportunity to grow your career in a dynamic and technically challenging environment.Key Responsibilities Execute scheduled maintenance and respond to breakdowns and unplanned work.
Ensure compliance with Statutory Electrical Regulations and Australian Standards.
Promote electrical safety awareness and best practices.
Recommend process and method improvements.
Record electrical installation work in the Mine Site Log Book for Registered Manager sign-off.
Complete safety documentation including Job Hazard Assessments, Take 5s, and Critical Risk Management procedures.
About You To be successful in this role, you will bring:Mandatory Qualifications & Experience A Grade Electrical Licence Manual C Class Driver's Licence Minimum 5 years' experience in electrical maintenance on a mine site or similar industrial setting Experience in Hydrocarbon electrical installations Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP maintenance systems Strong understanding of RTIO policies Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively with contractors, technical advisors, and cross-functional teams Desirable Skills Experience in investigating, recording, and reporting electrical incidents, hazards, and faults Ability to act on outcomes from electrical reports and audits Why Join Us?
