Room Leader Job Description
This role offers an opportunity to lead a team of educators in providing high-quality early childhood education and care. The ideal candidate will have a sound knowledge of early learning quality and educational frameworks, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* To implement programs that reflect cultural backgrounds and the emerging skills and interests of children.
* To create a play-based learning environment responsive to children's strengths and abilities.
* To implement daily routines, maintain records of development, and continuously reflect and improve children's learning.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* A Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care (or equivalent).
* An ability to plan, reflect, work and manage time effectively with minimal supervision.
* A comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the National Law and Regulations.
* An ability to learn and understand early childhood development theories.
