For CNC Team Leaders to oversee and train CNC machinists within one of the most modern machining and fabrication workshops in Tasmania. Servicing the Defence, mining, food agriculture, construction, and forestry industry with precision CNC machining and fabrication services.
- Requires: CNC machining skills and relevant qualifications and current Australian Work rights
- Salary guide: $45.00 per hour.
- Location: North West region of Tasmania.
Your normal day will involve:
- Overseeing and training a team of 6 to 7 CNC machinists.
- Programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines, focusing primarily on Mazatrol at the machine for small batch runs.
- Training and facilitating knowledge sharing among team members.
In this role, you will be integral in managing a dedicated team of CNC machinists, where you will ensure that all operations run smoothly and efficiently. You will lead programming efforts and foster a collaborative team environment.
