About the role
We are seeking a driven and experienced Recruitment Business Development Manager to join our team at AB Group Pty Ltd in Epping, Victoria. As the Recruitment Business Development Manager, you will play a crucial role in identifying and securing new business opportunities, as well as maintaining and growing existing client relationships. This is a full-time position based in our Epping office.
What you'll be doing
1. Proactively identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within your designated industry sectors
2. Focus primarily on business development within the Manufacturing and Construction Industry.
3. Developing and executing effective sales strategies to secure new client contracts
4. Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers and influencers
5. Presenting our services and solutions to potential clients in a compelling and persuasive manner
6. Collaborating with the recruitment team to understand their capabilities and client requirements
7. Monitoring and analysing market trends, competitor activity and customer needs to identify growth opportunities
8. Achieving and exceeding individual and team sales targets
9. Providing regular updates and reporting on pipeline, sales activities and business development initiatives
What we're looking for
1. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a business development or sales role within the recruitment industry
2. Proven track record of successfully securing new business and driving revenue growth
3. Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
4. Strong commercial acumen and the ability to understand and address client needs
5. Demonstrable experience in managing and developing client relationships
6. Proficient in the use of CRM systems and sales enablement tools
7. A self-motivated, resilient and target-driven approach to sales
8. Tertiary qualifications in business, marketing or a related field would be highly regarded
9. Must have current Australian work rights with no visa sponsorship available
