A full-time role within a leading regional supermarket, based in the North-western part of Tasmania.
Suitable for a Supermarket Manager, Retail Store Manager, or Operations Manager with 5+ years of experience to oversee daily store operations, including a full butchery department, ensuring exceptional service for the local community.
- Requires: Minimum 5 years of experience in supermarket management.
- Salary guide: $90,000 - $130,000 + Super, based on experience.

- Location: North-western part of Tasmania, this is NOT a FIFO role
Your normal day will involve:
- Supervising and coordinating staff to ensure smooth store operations.
- Managing inventory levels and overseeing merchandising efforts.
- Addressing customer inquiries to maintain high service standards.
- Tracking sales performance and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Overseeing the butchery department and ensuring product quality.

The store is a large complex operation, 30+ staff, 7 days a week 12 hours a day, multiple stock deliveries everyday (dry goods, frozen, perishable, dairy, meat etc), $9M turnover, full operational butchery/deli (4 butchers).
You will need:
- Proven 5+ years of experience in supermarket or retail management.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills..
- Ability to manage store operations autonomously.
- Good physical fitness to handle the demands of the role.
- The back office system is complex you would need to be very IT literate.
