The Opportunity
Schneider Electric is seeking a dynamic Key Account Manager to join our team in Macquarie Park, NSW. You will work closely with strategic key customer accounts across Industrial Automation Segments and Channels, forming relationships with stakeholders from C-level executives to site personnel, with a focus on Mining, Metals and Minerals. You will identify opportunities, expand our share of solutions and services, and drive sales growth in Industrial Automation and Energy Management.
* Develop and manage strategic relationships with key accounts to position Schneider Electric as a trusted business partner.
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities to grow account revenue.
* Coordinate national activities for multi-state strategic accounts.
* Provide strategic direction and support to other sales team members through account planning and profiling.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, and technical teams to deliver tailored solutions.
Our ideal candidate
* Proven success in solution and project/long cycle sales within an industrial environment.
* Strong track record in C-level selling and key account management.
* Tertiary qualification in Electronics, Electrical Engineering (or a relevant discipline) or Electrical trade qualification with minimum 5 years of sales experience.
* Industry experience in WWW, MMM, Oil and Gas, CPG, or Utilities is a plus.
* Strategic business development and deal-closing expertise.
* Excellent presentation and communication skills.
* Strong commercial and financial acumen.
* Ability to translate complex customer needs into smart, scalable solutions.
* Familiarity with sales methodologies such as Miller Heiman, Richardson, or Value Selling.
