About Our Client
Our leading global mining and resource client is Australia's largest producer and supplier of seaborne metallurgical coal. With over 100 years of operation within Australia, they mine metallurgical coal across seven sites within their Queensland Operations in the Bowen Basin with with local, DIDO and FIFO opportunities available.
What You Will Be Doing
You will be working within the Coal Mining Department as a Wheel Dozer Operator with the additional responsibility of training and assessing operators on the 854K Tiger and supporting training across other machinery where applicable.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Operating CAT 854K Tiger Wheel Dozer in production coal mining
* Providing Trainer Assessor support to upskill and onboard operators
* Assisting with competency assessments across production machinery
* Supporting production targets safely and efficiently
* Completing pre-start checks, defect reporting and equipment care
* Working a 7/7 roster, day and night shifts, 12.5-hour days
What You Will Need
* Proven experience operating CAT 854K Tiger Wheel Dozer &Accredited Trainer Assessor qualification with a current transcript
* Ability to train and assess operators on Wheel Dozer (other machines an advantage)
* Current Standard 11 and Coal Board Medical
* Experience operating CAT 793 trucks (minimum requirement)
* Strong production, safety and teamwork capability
* Valid Drivers Licence & right to work in Australia
